The Hollywood Reporter just did a story on the 40 most important show runners working in Television. Joss Whedon was selected as #1. Those interested in TV should definitely read the capsule interviews from Whedon, Ball, Kring, and company.What's amazing is how the concept of show runner has dominated TV in the last decade or so, such that it's the new auterism.
