Eulogy/Elegy to the film crtic

Roger Ebert just did a very moving piece on the end of the professional film reviewer, without ever mentioning his own contributing role in its destruction. Surprisingly, there's no focus on the advent of internet "amateurs" either -- only on the print media's focus on "celebrity." Despite my criticisms, it's a piece well worth reading here.
