Genre matters. It especially matters to
students in the Duke in Los Angeles program where we study all things genre, whether
in film, television, music, gaming, or comics. Los Angeles also matters, and this site should also share helpful information about what to do while staying in Los Angeles.

Dinner tomorrow night
For those of you who are going with me to the Westerns tomorrow night at the Egyptian in Hollywood, we'll be eating at 6:00 at Miceli's right around the corner. It's Italian and the pizza is pretty good, but there's stuff for Sam too.
