The film we saw Friday - Knightriders - was directed by the great George A. Romero. There's a really good piece on him here. Everyone needs to see his Dead films -- Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead and Land of the Dead. I'd also recommend Martin (Vampire movie)and The Crazies.
