Genre matters. It especially matters to
students in the Duke in Los Angeles program where we study all things genre, whether
in film, television, music, gaming, or comics. Los Angeles also matters, and this site should also share helpful information about what to do while staying in Los Angeles.

Indian Superman
Okay, here's the actual Bollywood version, as compared to the previously posted Tollywood version.
This one's so much better than that crappy Tollywood knock off. This just reminded me of my favorite song in Ghost World, the Indian rock song Enid (I think) is watching on TV. I downloaded it years ago and now it's long gone, but I looked the guy up and he was a singer for Bollywood movies. Sounds a lot like this, but even cooler. It's called Jaan Pehechaan Ho by Mohammed Rafi.
hahah ok this one is better. I would also like to mention that Pakistan has a film industry called Lollywood, if I'm not mistaken. hahah well I guess it's true, everyone wants to be indian what can ya do...

Oh, and when I say it's my favorite song in the movie, I mean other than...BLUESHAMMER!!!

Pardon my ignorance, but if Bollywood is India and Pakistan is Lollywood, what is Tollywood?
It's also Indian. Under the India Superman revised post, where it first mentioned Tollywood, there's a link -- or just do Tollywood in Wikipedia.
