Saturday 7:30 pm April 7 at the Egyptian, we are incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to see Lawrence of Arabia in 70 mm. For any of you who have never seen this film in the theater (DVD just doesn't count for this film), please, please join me -- this is one of the greatest films ever made. This is the film that made Spielberg want to make movies. I have lots of favorite films, but you don't hear me throw around the word "masterpiece." This is a masterpiece!
One other incentive: We will have just seen Grindhouse. This is the furthest one can get from grindhouse cinema, therefore giving a nice balance.
