I have a former student who is now working at BET and loves it. It's my understanding that they are interviewing for internships over the next two weeks and have ones in production and in finance. Let me know if you're interested and 'll post further info.

Is there any way I can talk to the former student so I get an idea of what they do there?

She's great and I'm sure she'd be glad to speak to you.
However, I'm not sure she's the one who's going to know the most about the internship program. I've placed a call to the person in charge and I will post what I found out.
I'd be interested in the internship in their finance department as well
