Hi,
I found this place that seems pretty legit, Skyline Terrace. You can get a double master bedroom setup for $1862, so it's under $1000 if you want a room to yourself and under $500 if you're willing to share it. It's about a 12 min drive from campus, so it's pretty convenient. I don't think utilities are included considering there is no mention of them, but if you're splitting it four ways it can't be that bad. Furnished? I think that's where the problem comes in. lol.

Hi. It's just my advice, and not a hard and fast rule, but it's going to make you rlife much simpler if you get a place that's already furnished -- and there are plenty.
Point number 2 -- a lot of you are looking in the downtown area which means that you are going to be battling the worst traffic in the mornings and afternoons. If you think you're working in North Hollywood, Burbank, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, I would not get a place downtown. Get something in North Hollywood or the La cienega/Fairfax area. (That's why I keep pushing Park La Brea). OR stay within walking distance to campus. Going north downtown isn't going to be super convenient anywhere and will be a bigger hassle going out at night.
Yeah I'm trying to live in Park La Brea, but we need two more girls. I'll keep the traffic thing in mind though, I had forgotten about it.
